Our 3 Day Murchison Falls National park tour gives you a great time in the wild with great sights of the falls, animals, and birds. The park is one of the largest and oldest national parks in Uganda.

The park covers about 3,840km and is bisected by the famous Nile River that flows 115 kilometers within the park boundaries. The park derives its name from the famous European Explorer, Sir Samuel Baker. It supports four of the big fives including elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and lions.

The rhinos used to also exist but faced extinction in 1983 but they have been re-introduced in the neighboring Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The park is also endowed with over 450 species of birds, 72 mammals, 53 types of reptiles, and migrant birds. Reptiles include rock pythons, Nile crocodiles, monitor lizards.

Highlights.

Detailed itinerary.

Day 1: Pick up and travel to Murchison Falls national park.

Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be picked up by  your guide who will transfer you to the hotel first to relax and take your morning break fast then relax as you prepare to set off for your journey. From there you will embark on your 6 hour drive from Kampala to Murchison falls national park. Along your way, you will have to have a stop over in nakasongola to see the rhinos. You will then embark on your journey and continue where you will by pass the kaluma falls. You will then continue with your journey to Murchison where you will have another stopover in Masindi to have your  lunch and then you will arrive in Murchison where you will be welcomed at the park entrance and then directed to the lodge where you will have your overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise on the Nile.

After grabbing your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park for a morning a game drive where you will you will get to see a number of animals such as the elephants, the lions, the leopards and so, many others. From there you can get back to the lodge have your lunch and then prepare for an afternoon boat cruise on the Nile. While on the boat, you will get to see a number of animals such as the crocodiles, the elephants, the lions, the leopards and so many others. You will continue till you reach the amazing and interesting top of the falls where you will turn back and then get back to the lodge. You will refresh up have dinner and then rest.

Day 3: Return to Kampala

Immediately after having your morning break fast, you will park your items and  then you will  be picked up by your guide who will transfer you back to Kampala. This will mark the end of your 3 days Murchison falls wildlife safaris.
