This 5 days Uganda tour takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable national park for gorilla trekking and to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will enjoy game drives, boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. The boat cruise can expose you to more wildlife and bird species. Kazinga channel is known for harboring the highest number of crocodiles in the whole world as well as over 600 bird species.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking
Day 5: Bwindi-Kampala.
Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the lodge/hotel in Kampala by our staff and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park with lunch en-route. This journey seems to be long but its worthwhile as you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery as you drive across the rural country side. On arrival at the park, check in your lodge and prepare to have a simple nature walk within the park and then go back for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Accommodation: Ichumbi Gorilla lodge/ Gorilla Mist Camp.
Meal plan: All meals included.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
Following the breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver and taken for the morning game drive around the park. this activity allows you to see various animal species like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, water bucks among others as well as various birds. Drive back to the lodge for lunch and freshening up. After lunch, drive to join the afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel from where you will see numerous numbers of crocodiles as well as hippos and water birds. Dinner and slumber at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi.
After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on your 4-5 hour trip to Bwindi Impenetrable forest passing via the Ishasha plains where we find the tree climbing lions. Have lunch en route and reach at the park in the afternoon. Check in your lodge as you prepare to join in a community walk- Batwa people. Dinner and slumber at the lodge.
Accommodation: Mahogany Springs/ Trekkers Tavern.
Meal plan: Full board.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi.
Start the day with a tasty breakfast and be picked up by your driver who will transfer you to the park Headquarters to join other trekkers. Here, the game ranger will brief and group you accordingly and each group will be led by a game ranger and one or two armed security men. The trek begins at exactly 8:00 am and it can take up to three quarters of the day depending on the location of that particular gorilla family. You will be given only one hour to be with these shy apes and then trek back to the lodge.
Note: Visitors are encouraged to carry packed lunch, enough water, rain coats, water proof cameras without flash, gum boots among others.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala/ / Airport.
After breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala with lunch in Mbarara and another stopover at the Equator for photography. This journey takes 8-9 hours so you will reach in Kampala/Entebbe late in the evening.

Note: No accommodation is offered on the last day of the safari but it can be organized at a extra cost.
