The 2 Days Gorilla & Cultural Safari gives you a twist of fate to encounter the endangered mountain gorillas in Rwanda and getting to know the norms, customs and tradition of Rwanda local residents.

In this 2 Days Gorilla & Cultural Safari, gorilla trekking will be done in volcanoes national park a home to 350 mountain gorillas and 10 habituated gorilla families’ suited north west of Rwanda.

Detailed itinerary.           

Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National park and Cultural tour.

 Pick up by the driver guide very early in the morning from your hotel and proceed to Kaningi in Ruhengeri. After lunch we visit the Gorilla guardian village  formerly known as Ibyiwacu cultural village were you will be able to interact with local people, engage in different activities like preparing local foods, grinding sorghum, brewing local beer and many more, you will be entertained by the local people through their traditional dances and songs. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: gorilla trekking and back to Kigali.

Very early in the morning after breakfast proceed to the park headquarters for briefing and allocation of a gorilla family, proceed to the forest for trekking with packed lunch. The activity takes around 1-8 hours according to were the apes are and after finding them you will stay with them for 1 hour. Transfer back to Kigali.
