This 5 days Uganda tour takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable national park for gorilla trekking and to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will enjoy game drives, boat cruise on the Kazinga channel.

The boat cruise can expose you to more wildlife and bird species. Kazinga channel is known for harboring the highest number of crocodiles in the whole world as well as over 600 bird species.

Detailed itinerary.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth

Upon your arrival at the Entebbe airport, you will be welcomed and picked up by your guide who will transfer you to the hotel and first relax as you are having your morning breakfast. From there you will embark on your journey to queen Elizabeth national park which is only  7hour drive from Kampala to the park.

Along your way, you will have a stop over at kayabwe at the equator where you will have fun and take photos. From there, you will continue with your journey and have another stopover in Mbarara at igongo cultural center where you will have your lunch from. You will proceed and then finally reach your final destination. You will be checked in at the park entrance and directed to the lodge where to spend an over night. You will refresh up, have dinner and then rest.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise.

After grabbing your morning coffee to warm up the da, you will be picked up your trained guide who will transfer you to the park for a morning game drive. During this activity, you will get to see a number of animals such as the giraffes, the elephants, lions, antelopes and so many others. From there, you can get back to the lodge, have your lunch and then prepare for an afternoon boat cruise on the kazinga channel. Here you will get to see a number animals such as the crocodiles, the elephants, the hippos and so many other. From there, you can decide to get back to the lodge, refresh up, have dinner and then rest.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi.

Immediately after having your morning tea, you will be picked up by your guide who will transfer you to  Bwindi impenetrable national park  a park  of half of the mountain gorillas.

Along your way, you will get to see the beautiful rolling hills of kigezi, the green nice vegetation and so on. As you continue with your journey, you will have your enroute lunch and then proceed.

On your arrival, you will be welcomed and checked in at the park entrance and then you will be directed to the lodge where to have an overnight. You will refresh, have dinner and then rest.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking.

After having your morning tea, you will be picked up by your guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing by the trained ranger. From there, you will be divided into groups of 8 who will be allowed to enter into the jungle and then start the trekking. Each group will be allocated a family to trek. Once you come across the gorilla family, you will be given ample time of over one hour to stay with them as you are having fun and taking photos. You will then leave the jungle and get back to the lodge for lunch. From there, you will relax and then go for an evening batwa nature walk where you will get to interact with the local people there, you will talk to them and get to know what they do to earn a leaving. From there, you will get back to the lodge, refresh, have dinner and then rest.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala.

Immediately after having your morning tea, your guide will pick you from the hotel and then you will embark on your journey back to Kampala which will take you over 8 hours to arrive to your starting point in Kampala-Entebbe.
