This safari takes you the home of gorillas which is bwindi impenetrable national and the plain savannahs of Queen Elizabeth national park the haven of the rare tree climbing lions.
The boat cruise can expose you to more wildlife and bird species. Kazinga channel is known for harboring the highest number of crocodiles in the whole world as well as over 600 bird species.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth

Arrival at airport and some relaxation will be followed by a 7 hour drive with a stopover at equator and an enroute lunch at igongo cultural center in Mbarara and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park. Check in at our lodge for overnight
Journey time: 7 hours.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise.

Warm your day with a morning cup of coffee and proceed for a game drive which rewards a good view of different wild life. During this activity, you will get to see a number of animals such as the tree climbing lions, the giraffes, the elephants, lions, antelopes and so many others. From there, you can get back to the lodge, have your lunch and then prepare for an afternoon boat cruise on the kazinga channel. Here you will get to see a number animals such as the crocodiles, the elephants, the hippos and so many other. .

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park.

Immediately after having your morning tea, transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park the haven for mountain gorillas. Along your way, you will get to see the beautiful rolling hills of kigezi, the green nice vegetation and so on. As you continue with your journey, you will have your enroute lunch and then proceed. On your arrival, you will be welcomed and checked in at the park entrance and then you will be directed to the lodge where to have an overnight. You will refresh, have dinner and then rest at Buhoma haven lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park.

After having your morning tea, you will be picked up by your guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing by the trained ranger. From there, you will be divided into groups of 8 who will be allowed to enter into the jungle and then start the trekking. Each group will be allocated a family to trek. Once you come across the gorilla family, you will be given ample time of over one hour to stay with them as you are having fun and taking photos. You will then leave the jungle and get back to the lodge for lunch. From there, you will relax and then go for an evening batwa nature walk where you will get to interact with the local people there, you will talk to them and get to know what they do to earn a leaving.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala.
