3-day Queen Elizabeth national park takes you to the second largest national wildlife park, therefore giving you the chance of seeing most animal species and crater lakes.

The animals in this park include waterbuck, hyenas, hippos, leopards, topis, antelopes, warthogs, buffaloes, elephants among others. The park is situated in Southwestern Uganda covering an area of 1,978 square kilometers.

  • Day 1: pick up from Kampala and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.

Detailed itinerary.

Day 1: pick up from Kampala and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.

Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to the hotel first and have your morning breakfast. From there you embark on your 7 hour drive to queen Elizabeth national park. Along your way, you will get a stop over at the equator where you will have fun and take photos. From there you will continue with your journey to Mbarara where you will have your lunch. From there you will continue with your journey to queen Elizabeth where you will be welcomed at the park entrance and then directed to the lodge where you will spend an overnight.

Since it will be late because of the long journey, you will  just have an evening game drive as you drive to your lodge to  refresh, have dinner and then rest as you prepare for the next day.

Day 2: Game viewing drive and Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel.

After grabbing your morning breakfast, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to the park for a morning game drive. During this drive, you will get to see a number of animals such as the elephants, the lions, leopards, antelopes and so many others.  From there you will get back to the lodge, have your lunch and then relax as you prepare your afternoon boat cruise on the kazinga channel. During the boat cruise session, you will get to see the crocodiles, the elephants, lions, leopards and so on. You will then get back to the lodge, refresh , have dinner and then rest.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth- Entebbe.

Immediately after grabbing your morning breakfast, you will be picked by your trained guide who will transfer you to the park for an early morning game drive to search for the animals that you did not see before. You will get to see the lions, leopards, elephants and so on. From there you can get back to the lodge have your lunch, pack your items and then set off for Kampala where you arrive at the Entebbe airport and that will mark the end of your 3 days queen Elizabeth national park safaris.
